Annie
Annie qualified as a Person Centred and Solution Focussed Counsellor over 25 years ago and spent many years working in private practice supporting individuals and families. More recently, Annie has worked in a Pastoral role within education, with a particular interest in Attachment Theory, Positive
Mindset, Behavioural Approaches and Parenting Support.
Since working in the education sector, Annie has further been trained by Educational Psychologists as an ELSA, as well as becoming a Nurture Practitioner, Drawing & Talking Practitioner, Parenting Facilitator, Specialist Diploma in Counselling Children and trained to support children experiencing Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA). Annie’s role in education has also included training staff in a compassionate schools approach, emotional coaching, 1:1 support for staff as well as group reflection sessions.
Annie’s role at thinkWell is to support individuals, families or professional organisations to have a better understanding of how their emotional wellbeing can affect their day to day life.
